Why am I being charged Duty and Taxes?

I’ve ordered the same item before and never got charged Duty and Taxes. Why now?

There are many reasons why this can happen. Some reasons may include:

Change in importation laws and regulations

Change in the origin of the goods

Change in the value or description of the goods

Change in the incoterms set by the e-merchant

How do I pay the Brokerage, Duty, and Taxes?

You can make a payment on our secure collection platform called CC-Collect (www.cccollect.ca). Simply follow the link that you received by SMS text message or email. It will automatically be associated with your shipment. You can then follow the link to the secure payment platform Paypal where you will have the option to pay by Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Paypal.

Can I make a payment if I don’t have a Paypal account?

Our collection app CC-Collect uses Paypal as the secure payment platform. Simply click on Paypal to enter into the platform where you will then be presented with other options to pay by Visa, Mastercard, or AMEX. Alternatively, you can contact one of our customer service agents by phone (1-905-612-0029) to make a payment by credit card or e-transfer. All you need is your tracking number!

I paid my duty and taxes, when should I expect my parcel to arrive?

Once you receive payment confirmation, your parcel should arrive within 1 to 3 business days depending on where you live.

Will I need to pay the delivery driver once my parcel arrives at my house?

No. Once the parcel is out for delivery, there are no further charges to be expected.
